OVERVIEW 

(One Shipping Option To Rule Them All)

As it's mostly just me I'm keeping it simple: there's just one shipping option.

The shipping rates are flat bands depending on the value of the items purchased, and I'll figure out a carrier that's similar to Royal Mail 1st class for UK orders, or airmail for non-UK orders. I'll aim to pack and ship all orders within 7 days and then post will take 1 to 7 days from then depending on where you live.

There's no next day delivery, but also no 3 to 4 weeks for international surface mail. That said if you do need it in a mad hurry and would like next day delivery, or you're literally just ordering a single postcard and don't mind waiting (for example on the xmas run up I'll be shipping stuff more often), then contact us at contactgeof@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do (i.e. if I'm relatively free we'll see if there's a good next-day shipping option we can find etc.)

How much will UK shipping cost?
The webshop cart should calculate this for you, but as of January 2021 it's 3 pounds, with free shipping for orders over £10.

How much will non-UK shipping cost?
The webshop cart should calculate this for you, but as of January 2021 it's 3 pounds, with free shipping for orders over £10, however for non-UK customers there may also be customs fees that your region's customs services will ask for once your order has arrived in your region.

Will there be customs fees?
There aren't customs fees for UK orders, but as of January 2021 non-UK orders might incur a customs charge/local sales VAT. There might not be: I'm not VAT registered in the UK so UK VAT has been paid on the goods; different regions charge different VAT on differing product types; and some regions have a "no VAT charged below a certain order value" policy. However I can't guarantee that there won't be customs fees that your region's customs services will ask you for once your order has arrived in your region.


How are my item/s posted?
We post your item/s using Royal Mail first class post wherever possible, but we may use an alternative courier if the need arises. For non-UK orders we use airmail wherever possible.

We may also split orders and send them in two parcels depending on size and content.

How soon will I receive my item/s?
We aim to process and ship your item/s within 7 working days, so, factoring in shipping time, we would expect UK orders to arrive between 7 to 10 days after placing your order. Similarly non-UK orders should arrive within 10 to 14 days, but if you need to pay customs fees this process may take a little longer. Most orders will be shipped sooner than that, but we will contact you in the event of any delay that would take longer. If you're unsure if your order should be with you by now, or you need your order sooner, then please do drop us an email at contactgeof@gmail.com .

Over bank holidays shipping times may be a little longer, however we will try our best to make you aware of the last shipping dates over the Christmas and New Year period.

Also some products are labelled as "Pre-order". If you have ordered a Pre-order product then shipping times will be specified in the product description.

Where do we ship?
Everywhere, we have customers in America and across Europe, shipping charges will vary but there is currently nowhere Doctor Geof can’t deliver his wares. Sadly, as a rather small business, I can't as yet find a way to pre-pay customs fees for non-UK orders, so sometimes local sales tax and customs fees can apply for non-UK orders, sorry!

Do you do priority shipping?
Yes, but it depends on how busy we are so it's really only available on request. If you need your order in a hurry please drop us an email at contactgeof@gmail.com

How will my items arrive? 
We package all items carefully, small items like patches can be shipped in envelopes, with larger and fragile items are cosily wrapped in bubble wrap, so you get some extra fun on top of your new things.
All art prints are either sent in cardboard tubes or card mailers, both of which can be reused or recycled.
We may also split orders and send them in two parcels depending on size and content.

What is a "Pre-order" product and how does it affect shipping?
"Pre-order" products have not been manufactured yet, and as such cannot be shipped immediately. The shipping date will be specified in the product description. Offering "Pre-order" products allows us the freedom to make a better range of products, because we can then make better judgements about the quantity of a product we require, and also have the funds to pay for the manufacturing up front.

Who is your registered recycling agent (german deliveries only)?Germany’s 2019 Packaging Act (VerpackG)  promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials. Businesses shipping to germany who send "first-use" packaging material (like a new box or envelope etc.) need to register with a recycling agent to deal with that once it enters the waste & recycling system.

Doctor Geof is registered at the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) with registration number DE4591349237966. My Dual System Licensing partner for the collection, sorting & recycling of the packaging is ACTIVATE by RECLAY.

As a consumer please ensure that all received packaging is disposed of in the right recycling containers, Blue for all paper & cardboard and Yellow for all plastics.
